Benedict Cumberbatch *is* Alan Turing. I predict at least an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Turing in "The Imitation Game". A brilliant film and script, with a perfect score by six-time Oscar nominee Alexandre Desplat. Perhaps, this time, he'll win. This is also Kiera Knightly's best performance; she deserves a nomination as Best Supporting Actress.
I was born a handful of years after the war ended and with my father in the British Infantry and my mother fighting the war on the British home front driving busses during the black outs and bombings I would probably not be here if it were not for the work of Turing and his team cracking the Enigma Code.
